Gift of Sight: Hometown Mission

Providing Free Cataract Surgery to Patients in Need

Specialty Eye Institute has partnered with Blake Woods Surgery Center in Jackson, MI to provide free cataract surgery to 10 patients who are experiencing a hardship and cannot afford the surgery. The surgery date is currently scheduled for May 28th.

Patients will be selected on a first come first serve basis that meet the following criteria:

  • No insurance preferred
  • Significant cataracts
  • Good visual potential

If you or someone you may know would benefit from this surgery, please submit your story below:
